Join Chef Marion Ohlinger (Owner and Executive Chef of Richwood Grill), and Rich Ireland (Beer Writer and BJCP Certified Beer Judge) and the West Virginia Craft Beer Appreciation Society as they lead us on a culinary journey that will delight your senses and tantalize your palate. Chef Ohlinger and Mr. Ireland have prepared a seven course tapas style meal and expertly paired a world class craft beer with each course.
Mr. Ireland will also be on hand to discuss why he chose each craft beer to go with each course and provide tips for properly pairing and serving craft beer at your own dinner table.
UPDATE!! The sixth course of this meal, which will feature Blueberry, poblano pepper & goat cheese tart, Is now officially a BATTLE OF THE BEERS (eers, eers, eers). Do to a disagreement amongst organizers about whether the malty flavors of the the AAyinger Ur-Weisse would pair better with the dish than the hoppy abundance of Great Lakes Comodore Perry IPA, it has been decided that the people will decide. Sooooooo, for the sixth course, you will actually receive TWO beers and we will allow you to chose which beer goes better with the sweet and spicy flavors of the Blueberry, poblano pepper & goat cheese tart.
