Beer News - West Virginia News

The 2010 Spring Feast-of-Ales took place over the past two days and it was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who made it out for this one of two nights of great food, beer, and fun. I hope everyone had a learned something new about pairing food and beer for your own dinner table, and more importantly I hope you all had a great time.

The After Dinner Party at Morgantown Brewing Company went great too. Quite a few people made it down to MBC and enjoyed some of the fantastic Handcrafted Ales and Lagers on tap. It was great to hang out and talk to everyone who made it down.

I want to give props to all the folks who helped make this dinner such a fantastic one: North Central Distributing, Jo's Globe, Rouge Ales, Starr Hill Brewery, and Great Lakes Brewing Company. Also thanks to Morgantown Brewing Co for hosting the After Dinner Party, Rich Ireland for volunteering his time to come up from Charleston to educate us all on ways to enjoy beer at the dinner table, and last, but certainly not least, to Chef Marion and the staff of the Richwood Grill who far and away put the most work into making this event a memorable one.

I am looking forward to seeing you all again at the 2010 Autumn Feast-of-Ales at the Richwood Grill in November, and other beer related events throughout West Virginia.
