Happy Robert Burns Day, my brutes! The annual holiday to celebrate Scotland's national poet. For those of you who have never read anything by Burnsie, I highly recommend him.
However, as this here wee bitty bit of webland is set aside for beer, I'd like to share with you my travels tonight to celebrate Robert.
I am writing you from the Broad Ripple Brew Pub, as I chew upon an order of Scotch eggs (dipped in hot sauce of course, my brutes; what're you? Pansies?) along with a wonderful, wonderful Scotch ale called Wee Alec Heavy that's served from cask! Tis a beautiful deep amber beer with wonderful peated malts involved in there.
This may be a small blog, but I hope you all enjoy tonight. I know I am. In fact, I may rub it in a bit about Indiana beer culcture and let you know I'm going to traipse down to Barley Island's Tasting Room a few blocks away and try their barrel aged Belgian IPA.
Keeping you all in my thoughts to increase WV's beer culture!
Dia dhuit and good night!
Seamus
